We know you dread this four-letter word. But don’t let your fear hinder the cognizance of your child. To make him/her a well-aware and a well-prepared adolescent, it is better to start educating from the elementary level. 

A gruesome task right? 

Being one of the deadliest diseases, you might fret the fact that your child can come up with queer questions. You need to then come up with simplified responses then. Tell them what it is and what it is not! Relate it to some day-to-day examples so the child can relate to it distinctly.

It is not a thing of shame if your child knows about this disease. By avoiding the AIDS talk, you are leaving their tiny brain open for the inappropriate talks that might be absorbed from somewhere else. Give it a thought, and educate your child about HIV and AIDS today!
